Researchers at Stanford University unveiled a study last week that found that multitaskers aren’t so great when it comes to accomplishments or focus.
Interestingly, the study started out as a search to find the “holy grail” of multitasking, i.e., what DNA strand enables some people to so skillfully manage to many tasks at once … but apparently, they’re still looking. Some of the researchers were absolutely shocked to find that multitaskers are awful at most thing, a finding I reported last Fall in a post: Multitasking? It doesn’t work.
The conclusion so far is that so-called Multitaskers are kings of irrelevancy and are managing myriad details that don’t make much difference … and are losing their focus and insights in the process. What do you think?
