I’m really enjoying the Ken Burns documentary series on PBS, Muhammad Ali. It’s subtitled, Bigger than Boxing. Larger than Life, which seems appropriate to his unlikely but incredible journey. It is also a microcosm of race relations throughout his life. I think you’ll be surprised by Ali’s attitude and approach to life.

My father was an professional boxer, won the Michigan Golden Gloves tournament twice and was always a big fan of the sport, so growing up, we spent every Friday night watching the Gillette Cavalcade of Sports (which was all boxing.) The man with the fastest hands ever was always a big favorite.

For my lawyer friends, here’s a new one I hadn’t heard before. (Probably could substitute a few other professional services as well, too, huh?)

There was a lawyer who died and got to the pearly gates.

St. Peter said “No, we got a new system. Now we do it by billable hours. According to our records you’re 153.”

If you’re an iPhone user and have downloaded the new operating system, iOS 15, you may be frustrated by Apple’s decision to put the Safari search bar at the bottom of the page instead of the top where it has always been.

It’s actually quite functional there, easy thumb access and allows you to easily swipe between tabs, but if you liked it the old way with the search bar at the top, do this:

1. Go to Settings>Safari
2. Look for Safari>Tabs where you’ll see two choices. The “Tab Bar” choice on the left keeps the search bar at the bottom. If you switch to the “Single Tab” on the right, it will return to its familiar place at the top of the Safari window.
